Alan Rubin, Founder

Alan Rubin is the owner and founder of the Rubin Insurance Agency. He began his insurance career in June of 1976 and has since built an unparalleled expertise in every area of insurance that the Rubin Insurance Agency offers. Currently, he specializes in writing and servicing commercial insurance policies. Outside of the insurance world, Alan enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, their three grown children and their four grandchildren. He is an avid sports fan, cross fit participant, and supports all local sports teams, especially the Washington Redskins.

Mike Romanoff, Owner

Mike Romanoff, the Managing Member of the Rubin Insurance Agency, has been a full-time insurance agent with the Agency since graduating from Penn State University in 2003. Mike is knowledgeable in all areas of insurance that the Rubin Insurance Agency offers and will analyze each individual's or business's insurance needs and customize policies accordingly. He enjoys playing and watching sports and spends his free time with his wife, Laurie, and driving their two daughters all over Montgomery County for their various sporting interests.

Sharon Manderson, Senior Licensed Associate Agent

Sharon Manderson joined the team in January of 2018. Sharon has extensive knowledge in the insurance industry and is very passionate about helping customers. She has been selling insurance since 1990. Sharon is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters. She enjoys travelling, dancing and spending time with her family.

Norma Prieto, Senior Licensed Associate Agent

Norma joined the Rubin Insurance Agency in August of 2017 and brings 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. She loves working with personal lines policies and has a heart for the Spanish speaking community. Norma enjoys spending time with her husband Jason & her kids Gianna and Julian. In her spare time, she enjoys creating arts and crafts, gardening, baking, and spending time outdoors.

Jatnna Mordan, Customer Service Specialist

Jatnna joined the team in April of 2017 and brings 4 years of outstanding customer service experience in the insurance industry. She is hoping to obtain her P&C license soon. When outside of the office Jatnna enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, family, and friends.

Alex Romanoff, Licensed Associate Agent

Alex Romanoff, an associate agent of the Rubin Insurance Agency, has been a full-time insurance agent with the Agency since 2019, earning a bachelor's degree in Insurance & Risk Management from the University of South Carolina. Alex is knowledgeable in all areas of insurance that the Rubin Insurance Agency offers and will analyze each individual's or business's insurance needs and customize policies accordingly. He enjoys spending his free time eating, laughing, and being active with his friends and family.

Roberto Quiroz, Licensed Associate Agent

Roberto joined the Rubin Insurance Agency in October of 2020 and has been in the insurance industry since 2016. He loves helping our clients. Roberto enjoys watching and playing soccer, watching movies, and spending time with his family.

Michael Metro, Licensed Associate Agent

Michael Metro, an associate agent of the Rubin Insurance Agency, started with the Agency as an intern in 2020 and is now a full-time insurance agent. Michael earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing from Towson University. Michael is well versed in each type of insurance that the Rubin Insurance Agency offers, and will provide personalized insurance coverage to suit the different needs of each customer. He enjoys playing golf, watching sports, helping others, and spending time with his family.

Greg Ponce, Licensed Associate Agent

Greg joined the Rubin Insurance Agency in August 2021. He brings 18 years of expertise successfully working for organizations in the insurance market. Greg is courteous and customer service oriented. He speaks Spanish and enjoys helping the Hispanic community with their insurance needs. His hobbies are sports and the computers, and he loves to spend time with his family and friends.
