R.C. Chase Insurance Agency is a family-owned agency with a rich history dating back to 1941. Founded by Richard "Pops" Carney Chase II, the agency has been a pillar of the Erie community for generations. Over the years, the Chase family has continued to provide exceptional service to their clients, earning the trust and loyalty of the community.
Our History
The agency's journey began in 1941 when "Pops" Chase purchased the Harold M. Drown Agency, founded in 1932. For 26 years, "Pops" headed the agency until his untimely death in 1967. His son, Richard "Dick" Carney Chase III, took over the reins and renamed the agency R.C. Chase Insurance Agency in honor of his father. Under Dick's leadership, the agency grew through acquisitions, expanding its presence in the region.
In 2003, Dick passed away, and the agency was handed over to the third generation of the Chase family. Today, Jonathan P. Chase serves as the President, and R.C. Chase IV acts as the Vice President. With a deep understanding of the insurance industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service, the Chase family continues to thrive.
