Our History

American Income Life has a rich history dating back to 1951, when founder Bernard Rapoport established the company with a humble $25,000 of borrowed capital. Today, we are a leading provider of supplemental life insurance to working-class families across the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and through our wholly-owned subsidiary, National Income Life Insurance Company in New York.
