Meet Our Crew
At SWAIG, we have a team of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients. Our team includes Dave Monaco, Mark Nichols, Colleen Jones, and Grant Parsons.
Dave Monaco is an aviation insurance broker and co-owner of SWAIG. After graduating from college in 1985, he spent three years as a Regional Credit Adjuster for the Mid-Atlantic region with Wells Fargo Credit Corporation. He then pursued his passion for aviation and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies. He holds a Commercial Pilot's License with single engine, multi-engine, instrument, seaplane, and helicopter ratings. Dave is an owner and pilot of a Cessna 185 and a Hughes 500 helicopter.
Mark Nichols is an aviation insurance broker and co-owner of SWAIG. Mark has had a love for aviation ever since he could remember and started flying when he was 15 with a teenage flying club in NY state. He graduated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1978 with a Bachelors of Aeronautical Science degree with an Associates in Aviation Management. He holds a Commercial Pilot's License with Multi-Engine & Instrument rating. Mark started his career in the aviation insurance industry in 1978 and has since gained extensive experience and knowledge in the field.
Colleen Jones is the Office Manager at SWAIG. She joined SWAIG in 2002 and currently serves as the Office Manager. Colleen has diverse career experience in business, and she excels in managerial, organizational, and computer skills, which she brings to SWAIG. As Office Manager, Colleen focuses on providing excellent customer service and finds solutions to ensure the office is managed efficiently.
Grant Parsons is an Aviation Insurance Broker at SWAIG. He has over a decade of experience in establishing and maintaining customer relationships. Grant is committed to providing the best possible service to SWAIG's clients and answers calls with "Thank you for calling Southwest Aviation Insurance, this is Grant, how can I help you?".
