Our Story

Sneed Companies was founded in 1957 by the visionary duo of George Sneed and Thomas Robinson. Known affectionately as "Big George" and "Chief, " these two larger-than-life figures had a profound love for the city of Memphis and big dreams for its future. After establishing a successful law firm with his brother, Thomas Robinson began investing in Memphis real estate. Using the knowledge he gained from this venture, he started an insurance agency, Sneed Companies, with the aim of providing the people of Memphis with the best possible insurance options.
