Our History

Since 1954, Larkey Insurance has been a dedicated partner to the individuals and businesses of Indiana, providing comprehensive insurance solutions with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Founded by Gerald Davis, Richard Larkey joined the agency in 1964 and eventually took ownership in 1979. Today, the agency continues to thrive under the leadership of Richard's son, Todd Larkey, and his cousin, Craig Larkey. A team of experienced and caring professionals, including Susie Meador, Colleen Crowley-Henson, and Connie Larkey, work diligently to ensure that clients receive the personalized attention and expert advice they deserve.

Through the decades, Larkey Insurance has grown into a full-service agency, proudly serving the insurance needs of approximately 1,500 individuals and families, as well as 500 business concerns across Shelby County and the surrounding communities. Our agency boasts a state-of-the-art computer system for efficient recordkeeping and a specialized rating computer that allows us to instantaneously compare rates from the country's leading insurance companies.
