Line Construction Benefit Fund

The Line Construction Benefit Fund, commonly referred to as LINECO, was founded in 1963 and is a self-funded, self-administered health and welfare plan that provides a comprehensive suite of benefits to IBEW and NECA members working in the outside electrical construction industry. For over five decades, LINECO has been dedicated to providing its members with a comprehensive suite of health and welfare benefits, designed to meet the unique needs of the electrical construction industry.

Our Benefits

LINECO offers a full range of medical benefits, including prescription drug coverage, dental benefits, vision, and behavioral health support designed to provide members with the best care available at a predictable cost. Our benefits are designed to follow our members nationwide, whether they are on vacation with their family or traveling on storm duty to provide disaster relief services. Our benefits include preventative and wellness exams, free telemedicine visits, free expert medical opinions, and a personal health nurse for those members undergoing significant or chronic medical issues. Additional benefits related to dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance are automatically included for our members.

• MAP Program: The Member Assistance Program (MAP) provides eligible members with up to 6 free confidential counseling visits and a referral service to help assess and resolve personal problems.
• Behavioral Health Benefit Summary
• Prescription Benefits: LINECO partners with Express-Scripts (ESI) to offer both a mail order and a retail pharmacy prescription benefit.
• Short-Term Disability Benefits: This benefit is designed to help replace lost wages and/or may extend LINECO eligibility for members who are totally disabled and unable to work.
• Telemedicine: LINECO members and eligible dependents can obtain convenient and timely medical consults for common and minor medical ailments free of charge 24/7/365 through Teladoc.
